Some of my audience might think this is a stretch, but just hear me out. Dave is having the career of a lifetime and giving him this recognition is well-deserved. I’m not talking about his show or his rapping, but his Hulk Hogan level entertainment mixed with his genius marketing skills makes this guy extremely enjoyable.

To really explain how awesome Dave is, let me set the scene. It’s Friday evening. My wife and I just finished a long day of work, and are ready to start the weekend. We decide to have a relaxing night, keep it simple, and have cereal for dinner. We fill all of the bowls, take a quick trip outside, and then head inside to find some TV to watch with our ceral. After realizing that we have a few episodes of Dave on Hulu, and given our current state, the decision is a no brainer. It’s at that moment, I truly realize how awesome Dave is.

Let's remember, Dave started out with a regular daytime job, just like me. He found his niche in entertainment, and even though he was constantly being doubted, almost failing, and almost being out of money, he just kept working. He kept believing in himself, kept working, and now has a TV show ABOUT HIMSELF that people are choosing to watch with their dinner, even with all of the other amazing TV that's out there.

Well Chuck, within 30 seconds of the episode starting, we started second guessing our choices. Not only with our decision of what to watch, but also my thinking of how awesome Dave is. That feeling quickly faded and we were back to classic Dave fashion. That feeling didn't last long. The episode was amazing and we were immediately ready for more Dave, proving just how awesome this guy really is.
